Craftsman Masonry is a small masonry company from La Marque, Texas, (Galveston County) with three full time employees that has been in business for over 30 years. My name is James Neal and I am the owner. On this website, I’ve compiled photos that represent some of the common masonry repair jobs we perform and a few of the custom jobs we’ve done.
I personally come out and look at all jobs explain your options, show mortar samples and determine if we can match brick if needed, and show you more detailed pictures of jobs just like theirs. I will give you a quote and email a detailed proposal the following day.

Brick Repairs
Common brick repairs include replacing damaged and rusted lintels, installing through-wall flashing, repairing stress cracks due to foundation issues, and repointing deteriorated mortar joints.
Fireplace & Chimney Repair
Common repairs include reconstructing crowns on top of chimneys, replacing loose firebricks in fireboxes, replacing damaged dampers, replacing damaged flue liners, solving water leaks, and replacing rusted and damaged prefabricated fireboxes and flues.
Lintel Repair
Common lintel repairs include replacing mortar and flashing due to improper installation.
Flashing & Waterproofing
We repair and install flashing and waterproofing.

Advice of Inspectors
During recent times when homes were selling at a premium, the owners neglected to take the advice of the inspectors, or listened to the real estate agent who told them it was “not a big deal” As a result, I am receiving calls to come inspect the brickwork. The homeowners are overwhelmed by cost of repairs and it has to be done.
